Ninna Rivera wins gold for PH in Eurasia Spelling Bee

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School student Ninna Rivera of 12-Oldcorne won a gold medal in the final round  of the Eurasia Spelling Bee English Language Competition held online on November 21 – 22, 2020. Prior to winning gold in the final round, Ninna also won gold in the competition’s preliminary round (June 28, 2020) and semi-final round (August 9, 2020).

The Eurasian Spelling Bee English Language Competition was established to promote the English language and challenge students from Asia and Europe to improve their lexical skills, particularly in spelling. Contestants were from Azerbaijan, Cambodia, China, Georgia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
