Team BauDoMar places 2nd in Antimicrobial Resistance Tiktok Challenge

Team BauDoMar- which is composed of Ateneo de Manila Senior High students Seb Bautista, Harlyn Domingo and Issa Martires of the class of 12-Pro- emerged as the first runner-up winner of the YOUth Against AMR (Antimicrobial Resistance) Tiktok Challenge for High School Students 2021. As the 2nd place winner, Team BauDoMar received a P10,000.00 cash prize for its submission entitled, “Issa Through the Looking Glasses.”

High school students from all over the Philippines joined the AMR Tiktok Challenge, which was organized by the UP Medical Students for Social Responsibility (UP MSSR), the UP Medicine Student Council (UP MSC), the UP Manila College of Public Health Student Council (CPHSC), the UP Pharmaceutical Association Student Council (UPPhA), and the Asian Medical Students’ Association - Philippines (AMSA-Phil). The competition was one of the Philippines’ main activities in celebration of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, which is observed annually from November 18 - 24. The winners were announced on December 10, 2021 during an online program organized by the Department of Education - Bureau of Learning Delivery and the organizers of YOUth Against AMR.
