Yiu & Yalung are champions of CEU Programming Competition

Ateneo Senior High School students Mike Ong Yiu (12-Acquaviva) & Vince Yalung (12-Pro) won first place in the CEU-JCSP (Centro Escolar University - Junior Computing Society of the Philippines) Interschool Programming contest last November 9, 2017. They bested other high schools in Metro Manila by developing C# programs that would solve problems in three categories: easy, medium, and difficult. Yalung and Yiu said that they were able to “confidently” answer all the problems in the easy and medium categories during the contest proper. Among the other schools which participated in the CEU-JPCS were St. Jude, St. Stephens, Chiang Kai Shek, and STI senior high school.

Yalung and Yiu were coached by ASHS faculty Mr. Victor Tañedo.
