AHAS is overall champion of Arnis Tournament
With its medal haul of two gold medals, three silver medals and three bronze medals, Ateneo High Arnis Society (AHAS) emerged as overall champion of the Arnis Pasindo Eskrima Martial Arts Association’s 17th invitational tournament. The competition was held on December 11, 2016 at the Amphitheatre of Quezon Memorial Circle.
Winning medals were the following Ateneo de Manila Senior High School students:
IGGY BUNAG (11 Pignatelli): GOLD, Individual Doble Baston (Junior Division-Boys); GOLD, Sparring Event Junior Division 16-17 Years Old (Medium) – Boys; SILVER, Individual Solo Baston (Junior Boys Division)
DANIEL ENCARNACION (11 Hurtado): BRONZE, Sparring Event Junior Division 16-17 years old (medium) – Boys
RODEL K. DE GUZMAN (11 Gonzaga): SILVER, Sparring Event Junior Division 16-17 years old (large) Boys
LOUIS BELMONTE (11 Realino): SILVER, Sparring Event Junior Division 16-17 years old (x-large) – Boys
KEN MACAGBA (12 B): BRONZE, Sparring Event Junior Division 16-17 years old (x-large) – Boys
