Alvaro, Guzman, and Salazar are in UAAP 80 Jrs. Baseball's Mythical 9 roster

Three members of the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eaglets baseball team- Miguel Alvaro (12-Beyzym), Matti Salazar (12-Kibe), and Manu Guzman (12-Walpole)- were revealed as Mythical Nine selections at the conclusion of the UAAP Season 80 Juniors Baseball tournament last February 27, 2018. Miguel Alvaro was named Mythical Nine Best Catcher while Matti Salazar was named Mythical Nine Best Right Fielder. Manu Guzman was given two awards: the first was for Mythical Nine Best Centerfielder while the second was for Most Stolen Bases.  

Team Ateneo finished the UAAP Season 80 championship in second place, behind eventual champion University of Santo Tomas. The UAAP 80 juniors baseball tournament was held at the RIzal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
