Belangel, Ildefonso, and Sotto are in Mythical Team roster of UAAP Season 80 Juniors Basketball

Three members of  the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eaglets basketball team- Dave Ildefonso (12-Daniel), SJ Belangel (12 Geronimo), and Kai Sotto (9-Lewis) – made the Mythical Team roster of the UAAP Season 80 Juniors Basketball tournament. The announcement was made at the FilOil Flying V Center last February 27, 2018, before the start of game 2 of the UAAP 80 juniors basketball tournament.

The Blue Eaglets won the title after their thrilling win against the NU Bullpups during the winner-take-all game on March 2, 2018, 63-58. In the awarding ceremony that followed the game, Kai Sotto was also named Finals MVP of the UAAP Season 80 juniors basketball tournament.
