Four Eaglets shine as 2020 SLAM Rising Stars

Four Ateneo de Manila student-athletes were recognized as part of the 2020 SLAM Philippines Rising Stars -- a list of the top high school basketball players in the country. From Ateneo Senior High School are Ian Espinosa (11-Gavan), Joshua Lazaro (12-Carvalho), and Forthsky Padrigao (12-Evans). From Ateneo Junior High School is Francis Lopez (Cardoner/10-Canisius).  

All four student-athletes were part of the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eaglets team that competed in the UAAP Season 82 Juniors Basketball Tournament, with Joshua and Francis both making it to the Mythical Five. Joshua and Forthsky were also part of the Batang Gilas U16 and U17 teams from 2017-2018, while Ian and Francis were part of the Batang Gilas U16 pool in 2019.
