About the Office for Mission and Identity
The Office for Mission and Identity (OMI), established in November 1999, provides the focus for the Ateneo de Manila University to root its programs, structures and policies in the spirituality and apostolic vision and mission of the Society of Jesus. As the University undergoes changes and growth, OMI supports the needed efforts for organizational development and help the units align with the vision and mission of the Ateneo as a whole.
As the office tasked to give prominence to the mission and identity of the University, OMI specifically conducts various spirituality, organizational development, leadership, and publications programs all aimed at promoting the Ateneo de Manila's Filipino, Catholic, and Jesuit identity.
