Faber Cabrera wins two bronzes in two fencing tournaments

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School student athlete Faber Cabrera (Cardoner/9-Berchmans) was a member of the team that bagged bronze in each of two fencing tournaments held in Ormoc City, Leyte, earlier this month. The first bronze was for the men’s team epee event of the Philippine Fencing Association’s Dayrit Cup, which was held from October 14-15 at the Ormoc Superdome. The second bronze was again for the men’s team epee event, this one at the National Fencing Competition Mayors Cup 2021 held from October 16 – 17 at the Ormoc Superdome once again.

Faber is currently in a training camp “bubble” with the national fencing team in Ormoc City.
