Lucas Llarena wins gold, bronze at nat’l tkd tourney

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School taekwondo jins Lucas Llarena (Cardoner/8-Arrowsmith) and Niko Macasaet (La Storta/10-Garate) both won medals at the MVPSF Online National CPJ Speed Kicking and Poomsae Championships. Lucas won a gold medal for speed kicking in the cadet male blackbelt feather weight division, and a bronze medal for poomsae in the cadet male blackbelt division. Niko won a silver medal for speed kicking in the junior male blackbelt light middle weight division.
 

Held online on August 29, 2021, the competition was open only to Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) champion blackbelters from all over the country.
