“In my journey of leadership development with local government leaders, I always find my experiences with my MPM professors, classmates, and mentors a strong foundation. There are things I was only oriented then that I find deeper meaning now as I move to realize what I have learned. I found that social accountability need a strategic framework and design to deploy. I also found ethical leadership still abstract yet aspirational for many leaders. Most of all, I found that the best tool to have is to continue to be engaged with the issues and to honor leaders for what they have overcome.”
