Biography: 

Jimmy Hofileña was admitted to the Philippine bar in 1990. He was an Associate of the Castillo Laman Tan & Pantaleon Law Offices from 1989 to1994. Thereafter, he became Senior Associate, Partner and Senior Partner of the Poblador Bautista & Reyes Law Offices up until 2012.
 
He was previously a staffer of the then Ateneo Center for Social Policy and Public Affairs (1986-1987) and of the Office of (Constitutional) Commissioner Joaquin Bernas SJ (1986) and a former Trustee and Corporate Secretary of the microfinance NGO Ahon sa Hirap, Inc.

He is currently Vice President for Social Development and Corporate Secretary of the Ateneo de Manila University.
