An eagle has landed! Our Assistant Headmaster for Student Affairs, Mrs. Virgie G. Esteves, photographed this Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus) on the AGS campus in the afternoon of June 29, 2021. The Brahminy Kite is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes eagles and buzzards. It was seen flying over the campus a couple of weeks ago, but no photographs were taken of it then. We are happy it has found a home in our eagle and eaglet-loving campus!
